On September 25, 2024, the new long-distance drone „DB UAS” was unveiled at the Deutsche Bahn stand at Innotrans Berlin. DB will be testing the aircraft along its routes from 2025.

In future, the UAS will provide aerial support for various tasks, including surveying, vegetation checks and infrastructure monitoring. In future, a total of around 100 of these drones are to be deployed throughout Germany. The aircraft, which was specially developed for use along the track, was presented to the public for the first time.

Am 24. September 2024 wurde auf dem Innotrans-Stand der Deutschen Bahn die neue Langstreckendrohne „DB UAS“ vorgestellt.

Zukünftig dient dieses UAS verschiedenen Missionsprofilen wie Vermessung, Vegetationskontrolle und Infrastrukturüberwachung. Insgesamt sollen in Zukunft rund 100 dieser Drohnen in ganz Deutschland eingesetzt werden. Das speziell für den Einsatz an der Schiene entwickelte Fluggerät wurde erstmals der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt.
